Boating License Update - January 6, 2026

Transport Canada has updated Pleasure Craft Licensing (PCL) rules:

Licenses now valid for 5 years with a $24 service fee
Changes to boat info or ownership must be reported within 30 days
Older boat licenses require renewal (1974 or earlier by March 31, 2026)
